Since 1996 James Ryan D.C. has been practicing in Poulsbo, WA. Dr Ryan is trained in methods of chiropractic treatment used to successfully correct acute spinal injuries as well as chronic spine related problems.
Dr. Ryan, a North Kitsap native, earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic – West in 1996. Prior to chiropractic college, Dr. Ryan graduated from North Kitsap High School and attended Western Washington University.
Dr. Ryan provides quality chiropractic care to the entire family from kids to seniors, couch potatoes to athletes. Dr. Ryan has a particular area of specialty in the diagnosis and management of traumatic injuries including whiplash and workplace accidents. Dr. Ryan has obtained additional training as a Certified Independent Chiropractic Examiner (CICE) and is called as an expert witness to thoroughly examine patients and give second opinions in the courtroom regarding injured patients.
Dr. Ryan has worked successfully with a local network of experts in neurology, orthopedics, physical therapy, and massage therapy to assist in case management when necessary. He can also refer patients to local X-ray, MRI and CT scan facilities as needed.
